Hello. How are you?

We, as court reporters, debate whether a comma should come after a conjunction or should be omitted in the following examples (also, these are sentences from depositions, and we are to write them verbatim; otherwise, I would just change it):

1. And after you explained those changes to him, did he then sign it, or, again, did he ignore your request?

2. You know, they can't break something at home and bring it in and expect us to replace it, but, you know, if somebody blows up a pair of pliers or something like that, we would insure them and buy them a new one.

3. For instance, the Marysville project, the employees had the option -- we gave them the option to either drive home every day or they could stay, and, I mean, we would provide them with a hotel and per diem.

I would appreciate your advice.

Thank you in advance,
Cherie
